Instructions are provided on how to follow the platforms’ guidelines, including the conceptual model underlying the applications, their architecture, the UI (User Interface) design, and the ways to achieve a satisfactory UX (User Experience). Additionally, the course includes methods for programming behavior, prototyping and startup and how to add security.
The course shows the development of an Android simplified app by way of example, considering this simpler prototyping in the absence of a Mac. However, concepts are analogous for iOS, and the course includes mention to specificities for each platform when applicable.
- Classroom duration: 36 hours (tehory + practice)
- Self-study duration: videos duration (6 hours) + Practice: 16 hours
Students will be able to take the exam corresponding to the GeneXus Developer for Smart Devices as long as they previously have a GeneXus Junior Analyst certificate.
This exam is taken on a computer and includes multiple choice and true/false questions about the topics learned throughout the course, to confirm that the student has effectively learned the essential concepts required.
