Do you want to teach courses at your Institute or University?

Academic Partners (or GeneXus Academic Partners) are universities and higher education institutions, public or private, with proven technical and teaching excellence and with adequate infrastructure, which have signed an academic agreement with GeneXus in order to offer their students training courses on GeneXus and the GeneXus products.

Academic Partners have preferential access to GeneXus S.A.'s resources and support.
There are two types of academic partners:
GeneXus University program
GeneXus Training Center program
Profile
Universities or Educational Institutions that offer post-secondary Information Technology degrees (Bachelor's or Technical degrees).
Educational Institutions that offer IT courses.
Focus
Promote the GeneXus technology as a core or elective subject among students, providing them with a complementary tool that opens new career opportunities.
Promote the GeneXus technology in the market,offering GeneXus courses to individuals as well as in client and prospect companies.

Academics

    • Educational institution authorized by GeneXus S.A. to teach GeneXus courses.
    • Course Materials
    • GeneXus Academic Licenses to be installed on the Institution's computers used to teach GeneXus courses.
    • Training for course instructors. “GeneXus Teacher|Instructor” certifications and “Version Updates” for course instructors. (1).
    • Free “GeneXus Junior Analyst” certification for GeneXus Course students (curricular).
    • Offering your students the possibility to use GeneXus and the GeneXus Products as their main or complementary tools in academic projects (final projects).
    • The possibility to apply for the “Creating Talents” GeneXus program (scholarships for GeneXus-certified students) in the territories where  it is available.

Requirements
  • Courses taught by GeneXus Teachers or Instructors certified in the latest version released.
  • Necessary infrastructure.
  • At the end of the GeneXus course, students must take the “GeneXus Junior Analyst” exam.
 
  • Courses taught by GeneXus Instructors certified in the latest version released.
  • Necessary infrastructure.
  • At the end of the GeneXus course, students must take the “GeneXus Junior Analyst” or “GeneXus Analyst” exam, as applicable.
  • Commitment to teach a minimum number of in-person courses per year (to be agreed).
  • Having an institutional web site, with the GeneXus Academic Partner logo and a schedule of GeneXus courses.
Fee
  • It doesn’t apply when it is a “curricular course of an IT university degree program.”
  • To teach courses independently (that is to say, not  curricular, post-graduate, for ex alumn or the market in general), a GeneXus Training Center agreement must be signed.
  • Anual fee.
 
(1) Travel and accommodation expenses are not included.
(2) Except for “GeneXus Instructor” certifications, which are managed exclusively by GeneXus staff.
